Recognizes that the client is normally the parent as much as the child. The parent pays for the lesson and expects results, but don't confuse real results with awards and badges. A certificate that has not been truly earned is pretty hollow if the skills are not there and the child struggles or loses confidence in a neighborhood or hotel pool on holiday.
